Amphibians are animals that live both in the water and on land. Examples of commonly known Amphibians are: Frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and caecilians. Reptiles are air-breathing, generally "cold-blooded" animals whose skin is usually covered in scales or scutes. The majority of reptile species are oviparous (egg-laying), although certain species are capable of giving live birth. Examples of commonly known Reptiles are: Crocodiles, gavials, caimans, alligators, tuataras, lizards, snakes, worm lizards, turtles and tortoises.
